St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church

embodies the rich musical heritage of the Lutheran Church.

While upholding traditional musical styles and worship practices, the church also encourages innovative styles for the worship of our Lord.

The music ministry is shared by two parish musicians,

Ken Turner (Choral Director and Bell Choir Director),

The music ministry includes a Parish Choir, Bell Choir, Brass Choir, vocal ensembles, vocal soloists and various instrumentalists.

St. John's Church is fortunate to have three pipe organs and a concert Steinway piano.

The 1986 Moeller Organ (III, 52 ranks)

is located in the rear gallery of the church.

A 1932 Moeller Organ is located in the front of the church.

A one manual (keyboard) Hofmann Organ is located in the chapel.

First Sunday of each month

15 minutes prior to the

Worship service in the sanctuary.

In 2007 St. John's celebrated our 150th Anniversary. 

As a part of our celebration, a CD was recorded by our Parish Choir and Bell Choir, under the direction of our

Choir Director, Ken Turner and organist, Victor Schaper.
